With over 34 years of experience in hospitality design worldwide and with design expertise on luxury four and five-star properties, Karen Kent is the founder of Kent Interior Design, Inc. Karen received a Bachelor of Interior Design from the School of Architecture at Auburn University in 1987. She is a licensed NCIDQ certified Interior Designer, a NEWH professional member, and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Green Associate. Karen’s career started at Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) where she designed, managed, and developed dozens of luxury hotels and resorts, both domestically and internationally. After 19 years at HBA, Kent Interior Design (KID) in 2006 was founded. KID is a boutique sized firm with the sole focus on providing clients with an all encompassing and diverse design perspective with exclusive principal level dedication, attention, and hands-on approach and involvement throughout all phases of each project. KID offers personalized service with the highest level of detail and exceptional quality, while striving to bring value to each project and exceeding client expectations.
